Previously, the sales team. working on the field, needed to call the order department, production planning, and/or the factory manager in connection with dialogue with their customers.

- There were many questions about whether there were machines in stock, and if not, when the next one was available from production.
- The sales reps often sat in the evenings after customer meetings and created quotes or manually drafted orders. Quite often, employees at the order department also needed to assist.
THE CREATION OF THE AI AGENT

Within three weeks, AI Empower Labs AI consultants developed an AI agent that:
- Integrated with Swepac's ERP system via API and data warehouse for additional data.
- The AI agent was then trained to answer questions that were previously asked to the order department.
- The AI agent was taught to conduct searches and look-ups in the ERP system in order to answer the questions.
- The AI agent was also taught to create quotes and orders. This is done by first checking if products are available and then finding the customer's prices and, if necessary, discussing potential discount rates with the salesperson.
- Finally, the AI agent was taught to create and send quotes and orders to the customer through dialogue with the ERP system.
